During our recent stay at the Bay Room in Arundel, we found the value proposition of the hotel to be quite satisfactory. the provided were adequate, with ironing facilities and heating available for guests' convenience. the complimentary toiletries in the bathroom were a nice touch, although we did notice a lack of a screen in the shower, resulting in water scattering everywhere. The room itself was on the smaller side, but it was clean and cozy, with a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle provided for our comfort. the bar/lounge area downstairs was a pleasant spot for enjoying a cocktail or two, although the limited beer selection was a slight drawback. In terms of dining facilities, the breakfast offered at the Bay Room was decent. While the hash browns could have been cooked a bit more thoroughly, the full English breakfast served was hearty and satisfying, perfect for fueling a day of exploration in the area. However, we did find that there were minimal options for those with dietary restrictions or preferences. Overall, the Bay Room provided good accommodation in a fantastic historic location, right in the heart of Arundel. the house's charming decor and helpful staff added to the overall pleasant experience. While the rooms may be considered budget, the clean and comfortable amenities make for a pleasant stay. For those looking for a cozy retreat in a picturesque setting, the Bay Room is a solid choice.
